Before Adam and Eve were created, a war had broken out in heaven. But the deceiver, Lucifer, and his followers did not prevail and they no longer had a place in heaven. They were banished to the earth. God created man in His own image and likeness, male and female, blessed them, and told them to be fruitful and multiply, to fill the earth, subdue it, and have dominion over every living thing that moves on the earth.

The Garden of Eden was created by God, then He created Adam. God breathed the breath of life into Adam. He then placed him in this garden with the opportunity to have a unique and complete personal relationship with his Creator, not shared by any of the other creatures. To make Adam complete, God caused him to sleep then took a rib from him and made it into one of Adam’s own kind. Adam calls this new creation "woman" because she was taken out of him. Adam named his new companion Eve because she was to be the mother of all living beings of their own kind.

In the garden, another creation was present which was a talking serpent identified as a deceiver. This talking serpent deceived Eve into eating fruit from a tree called the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam and Eve had broken the only command God gave them - not to eat fruit from a forbidden tree. Adam and Eve were then banished from the Garden of Eden.

Cain was the firstborn of Adam and Eve. The next born was his brother, Abel. Cain brought an offering of thanks to God of fruit from the ground and Abel brought an offering from a flock of sheep. Abel’s offering was accepted by God while Cain’s was rejected. Cain was enraged over this rejection and murdered his brother Abel. God cursed Cain for the murder of Abel and was banished from the presence of God to be a fugitive and a vagabond on Earth.

Book 2 / Promises

Promises are made in a covenant form originally by God with or to man. The Noahic covenant in the Old Testament book of Genesis was between God and all living creatures. The book of Jeremiah 31:30-33 indicates there will be a new covenant (promise) with the Hebrew people of the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Scriptural promises are throughout the books of all Bibles. God fully intends to keep the promises He makes to mankind although mankind has problems making and keeping promises to God.

Book 3 / Chosen

Chosen means to be selected of a group or nation, or whatever is determined to be the area of being selected from, to, and for. This book focuses on the scriptural noun "chosen". It represents a group that will carry the promises made by God into future generations.

Why was this particular group chosen to carry forward with the promises made to them by God? Will future generations still have the status of being chosen or will it end with the original group?

Book 4 / Law

This fourth book in the Endless Kingdom Quest will explore the law of the chosen people that were introduced in the previous book. Moses was the appointed leader of the chosen people, so it was expected that he would without question lead according to the direction he was told to go and on the path that was set before him.

Will this law stand forever or will it be managed, adapted, then adhered to? Or will it be manipulated by those appointed to lead the chosen people after Moses is no longer leading? He is term-limited by his Creator. Are we law-abiding?

Book 5 / Remnant

What is a remnant and how did it come about? Did it just happen or was it designed from the beginning of creation as a thread throughout the history of mankind?

The repeated course of humanity has been one of disobedience, an inherent issue with man. The chosen people were given the law to abide by. Now there seems to be a remnant of the chosen people who carry a desire for a relationship with their Creator to heal their brokenness and disobedience. Will this desire for a relationship help them overcome the fruitful distractions of the world?

Book 6 / Understanding

A reflection back to scripture at this juncture of the Endless Kingdom Quest takes us to King Solomon who was given the responsibility to lead the chosen people at the approximate age of twenty. Solomon asked God for understanding to rule the chosen people and God gave him that, as well as wisdom.

God’s grace bestowed on Solomon made him the wisest man in recorded history. He ruled for approximately forty years. But with all his wisdom he still fell into disobedience to his Creator which led to his downfall.

Now you ask, with this blessed gift, why did he disobey? This book will hopefully bring some understanding to you as you explore its chapters.

Book 7 / Tower

This tower is known in scripture as the Tower of Babel and was built after the great flood that destroyed the disobedient mankind and saved only a remnant.

The only obedient ones left were Noah and his family. As generations progressed, a leader arose by the name of Nimrod. This great leader convinced his people that a tower needed to be built to stand as a majestic tribute to their skill and would reach the heavens.

The Creator of mankind was faced with disobedience once again. Everyone spoke the same language until this time and all worked together to display their greatness to God and challenge His authority. This rebellion resulted in babel as God confused their language and they no longer had the unity of desire to challenge God, their Creator.

Book 8 / Migration

The tower in book seven was another turning point in the history of mankind. The result of the self-importance of man resulted in confusion and disbursement of mankind. This created nations among the inhabitants of the world because once again their inherent desire was to rule themselves and reject their Creator. God passed judgment on all of them for their disobedience and confused their one language into many different languages which multiplied their confusion. Suddenly one group could not understand another group. Hence, the groups now became nations and proceeded in many different directions around the world.

These nations migrated and the results of their reestablishment set up the foundation of their individual cultures. Have we come full circle in this Kingdom Quest? Are we trying to become one again or just providing lip service to those that we desire to control and rule over?

Book 9 / Prophecies

Depending on many interpretations of Old Testament prophecies, the number of those fulfilled ranges from 365 to as few as 47. Numerous claims concern fulfillment with prophetic statements about Jesus Christ. Just what is prophecy? It is the inspired declaration of divine will and purpose.

The most significant prophecies with application to the Endless Kingdom Quest would be about Jesus Christ who is the key figure in scripture.

God raised up prophets to guide and direct people with these prophecies. These prophets were selected from among the cultures they lived in.

Book 10 / Salvation

In scripture salvation means we have the opportunity to spend eternity with God in heaven through His Son, Jesus Christ. There are requirements to achieve this goal (quest). Is this the Endless Kingdom Quest?

The core belief of Christianity is Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him (Jesus Christ) to spend eternity in heaven. It sounds so easy and so simple. Why would anyone choose another path of life in this world? The answers will be explored on both sides of this ‘why’. The hope is to explain the ‘for’ of this exploration into the life we live versus the life we should live - and the life we should live versus the life we choose to live.

Here is the conflict between the Creator and creationism. There are those that will stop at nothing to reject a supreme being because they want to be the most significant thing in the world beholding to no one or thing. Why?

Book 11 / Followers

Followers in scripture are individuals following a path laid out before them as a precursor to and/or result of their salvation experience. A follower is still residing in the world until they transition from life in this world to eternal life either in heaven to be with God or hell to be without God. Who is a non-follower or a rejector of salvation? This category results in eternity without God. Why is a non-follower spending an eternity without God? Every individual created by God will face judgment by Jesus Christ and will spend eternity in one of two places, heaven or hell, and is the free will choice of their destination.

All mankind seeks some type of relationship either with a supreme being or individuals with whom we have a common baseline or foundation. So, are we followers, leaders, lions, or sheep?

Book 12 / Blessing

A blessing is an act or words of approval or encouragement by God. This leads us to and through the life we live in this world - its trials, rewards, and lessons experienced. Consider those of faith who see God as endless, with no beginning and no end: meaning He is, always was, and always will be.

For mankind there was a beginning, then a transition from mortal life created by God to eternal life in heaven or hell. We are expected to learn from these choices to become better individuals who are blessed by our Creator. Does God withhold blessings? This series has shown that to be true, but recall that the Creator designed mankind to follow His will along a thread of faith throughout scripture. These followers were the remnant that was manifested in the book of Revelation.

The remnant has garnered God's blessings with their vibrant and meaningful actions revealing a system of rewards that honored God and glorified Him. The relationship with His ultimate creation is one of the greatest rewards for mankind in the Quest for the Kingdom of God. Continue on to read the book of revelation and be blessed.
